English Learning Through The Magic Of Storytelling
My innovative English learning program uses beloved stories to make language learning engaging, memorable, and fun. With over 30 years of experience working with elementary-aged students, I’ve developed a unique approach that blends storytelling, literacy, and creativity to help children naturally and confidently acquire English skills.
Storyvalues English Learning
My Unique Online Approach
Instead of relying on traditional grammar drills and spelling tests, I harnesses the power of storytelling to teach English in a natural, meaningful way. Students engage with beloved tales while developing key language and literacy skills:
Cultural Understanding – Discover diverse perspectives through rich, multicultural stories
Reading Comprehension – Deepen understanding by exploring narrative structure and meaning
Vocabulary Expansion – Learn new words in context, making them easier to remember and use
Creative Writing Skills – Spark imagination and self-expression through guided writing activities

About the Teacher
For the past three years, I have been teaching English online to Chinese children ages 6 to 13, building on over 30 years of experience working with elementary-aged students. Through Storyvalues, my comprehensive program that blends storytelling, drama, literacy, multicultural education, and creativity, I’ve developed innovative methods to make language learning both effective and enjoyable.
From 2016 to 2019, Storyvalues operated successfully in China, helping children learn English through engaging and interactive storytelling.
Most recently, I’ve developed a story-based learning method that uses beloved children’s literature as the foundation for English instruction. This approach emphasizes meaningful discussion and deep engagement with stories, allowing students to naturally build their language skills while reading literature they love.

Program Structure
Story-based learning using books and narratives students are passionate about to create genuine engagement and motivation.
During each 50-minute lesson, students practice reading sections from assigned chapters in popular books, learn vocabulary words in context, and explore grammar and writing through the story.
Creative Focus
Writing, storytelling, and imaginative exercises that bring language to life and encourage self-expression.
Progress Tracking
Regular updates to parents on student development, celebrating milestones and growth in language skills..

Perfect for English Language Learning
This approach is especially effective for children learning English because:
