  • Glue sticks
  • Cotton balls (for clouds)
  • Yellow tissue paper (for the sun)
  • Ribbon (for wind swirls)

  • Googly eyes and brown felt or paper (for the mice)
  • Crayons or markers

Instructions:

  1. 💛 Cut Out Valentine Hearts:
    • Provide kids with pre-cut heart shapes or help them cut their own.
    • Encourage them to decorate the hearts using markers or crayons.
  2. 🐭 Add Characters from the Story:
    • Mice: Cut small mouse shapes from brown felt or paper and glue them on. Add googly eyes for fun!
    • The Sun: Glue crinkled yellow tissue paper onto a heart to create a warm, glowing sun.
    • The Cloud: Stretch and glue cotton balls onto a heart to make a fluffy cloud.
    • The Wind: Attach a straw or ribbon to the heart and let it swirl like the wind.
    • The Great Wall: Glue sandpaper or brick-patterned paper onto a heart to represent the strong wall.
  3. 💌 Write Messages of Love & Strength:
    • Help kids write simple valentines with fun phrases like:
      • “You make my heart strong like the Great Wall!”
      • “You brighten my day like the Sun!”
      • “I’d chase the Wind for you!”
  4. 🎉 Share the Love!
    • Have the children share their valentines with friends and family, celebrating love, kindness, and the lesson that love is stronger than anything!
