Objective: Create valentines inspired by Little Mouse Will Marry, celebrating love and friendship for Valentine’s Day.
Materials:
- Red, pink, and white construction paper
- Safety scissors
- Glue sticks
- Cotton balls (for clouds)
- Yellow tissue paper (for the sun)
- Ribbon (for wind swirls)
- Brick-patterned paper or sandpaper (for the Great Wall)
- Googly eyes and brown felt or paper (for the mice)
- Crayons or markers
Instructions:
- 💛 Cut Out Valentine Hearts:
- Provide kids with pre-cut heart shapes or help them cut their own.
- Encourage them to decorate the hearts using markers or crayons.
- 🐭 Add Characters from the Story:
- Mice: Cut small mouse shapes from brown felt or paper and glue them on. Add googly eyes for fun!
- The Sun: Glue crinkled yellow tissue paper onto a heart to create a warm, glowing sun.
- The Cloud: Stretch and glue cotton balls onto a heart to make a fluffy cloud.
